The Real Estate Development Division of S.D. Ireland is looking for skilled Tradespeople to join our team.
Job duties:
- Perform work for residential and commercial projects, which may include carpentry, drywall repair, painting, plumbing, minor electrical, etc.
- Pick-up construction materials and / or tools as needed and deliver to jobsites.
- Keep jobsites clean and free of hazardous materials which include pick-up and removal of construction-related debris, sweeping and water / ice removal
- Load, unload and identify building materials and tools and distribute to the appropriate locations.
- Maintain exterior surroundings in residential subdivisions, which may include weeding, grass cutting, mulching, planting, de-icing.
- Be vigilant about identifying and correcting or reporting existing or potential problems with work quality and / or subcontractor issues.
- Execute punchlist work at various stages throughout the construction process: pre-inspection, post-inspection, pre-client walk, pre-closing and post-closing.
Preferred qualifications:
- Understand all aspects of trades of construction.
- Have a valid driver’s license, vehicle and tools.
- Ability to exercise judgment and a willingness to work outside the scope of normal job duties if needed with little supervision.
- Willing to work in various weather conditions.
- Reliable attendance
- Attention to detail, organized, and good time management.
- Vigilant about exercising safe work practices.
